National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), also known as “The Nation’s Bank”, has announced new career opportunities for motivated and career-oriented individuals. NBP is one of the largest and leading banks of Pakistan, playing a key role in the country’s economic growth through its nationwide and international branch network. To strengthen its operations team, the bank is hiring General Banking Officers (OG-III) for multiple cities across Pakistan.
Place of Posting
Selected candidates may be posted in Abbottabad, Bannu, Dera Ghazi Khan, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Gwadar, Hyderabad, Islamabad, Jhang, Jhelum, Karachi, Lahore, Mardan, Mianwali, Mirpur A.K., Rawalakot A.K., Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, Sargodha, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Swat, Vehari and other cities.
Eligibility Criteria (Education & Age)
Applicants must have a minimum graduation or equivalent qualification from an HEC-recognized university, college, or institute. The maximum age limit is 27 years at the time of application.
Experience
Candidates having one year of relevant banking experience will be preferred; however, fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
Vacancies & Job Responsibilities
As a General Banking Officer, selected candidates will handle both front-office and back-office banking operations. Duties include customer account opening and maintenance, remittance handling, processing daily banking transactions, ATM claim settlements, cash handling, clearing operations, term deposits management, issuance of financial instruments, record keeping, reconciliation of accounts, report generation, and assisting operations managers in selling banking products such as saving bonds, money orders, and traveler cheques. Any other task assigned by supervisors will also be part of the role.
Required Skills
Applicants should have good communication and interpersonal skills, strong customer service abilities, teamwork spirit, accuracy and speed in transaction processing, and working knowledge of MS Office applications.

تعلیمی اہلیت اور عمر

مطلوبہ مہارتیں
اچھی کمیونیکیشن اسکلز، کسٹمر سروس کا تجربہ، ٹیم ورک، درست اور تیز کام کرنے کی صلاحیت، اور MS Office کا بنیادی علم ضروری ہے۔
